This is one of my favorite cities—Freiburg, Germany. The scene I captured on canvas is truly unique. This bustling street is alive with trains and people shopping, yet it feels incredibly cozy and homey. Perhaps it's the tower that imparts a sense of safety, or the charming buildings with their triangular roofs. Despite the activity, this spot exudes a calm and comforting atmosphere, making you feel at ease amidst the hustle and bustle.

In this tender charcoal drawing, a young woman is depicted with soft, dark strokes that capture the depth of her emotions. Her eyes, though shadowed with the telltale signs of sleepless nights, sparkle with a quiet joy. Her hair is slightly disheveled, and her posture is one of gentle exhaustion, yet there is an undeniable warmth in her expression.
This woman, named Sarah, has recently become a mother. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of late-night feedings, diaper changes, and soothing lullabies. Her days and nights have blended into a continuous cycle of caring for her newborn, little Emma. Despite the fatigue that weighs heavily on her, Sarah's heart is full. Each time she looks at Emma's tiny, peaceful face, she feels a surge of love and contentment that makes every sleepless night worthwhile.
The charcoal drawing captures this beautiful paradox of motherhood—the weariness and the joy, the exhaustion and the fulfillment. Sarah's tired eyes and gentle smile tell a story of a new chapter in her life, one filled with challenges but also with immeasurable love. This artwork invites viewers to see beyond the surface, to understand the profound happiness that comes from nurturing a new life, and to appreciate the quiet strength of a mother’s love.

I created this painting to bring joy to someone’s home. Using the most vibrant colors, I crafted a cheerful pond full of water lilies. As I painted, I imagined a harmonious blend of blues, greens, and pinks to create a peaceful yet lively scene. I detailed each lily pad and flower, making sure they looked delicate and life-like, as if they were floating right in front of you. The reflections in the water were added, giving the impression of a tranquil morning at the pond.
While I worked on the piece, I visualized the owner of this painting waking up each day and gazing at this serene landscape. The thought of them smiling at the sight filled me with warmth. I wanted this artwork to be more than just a decorative item; I wanted it to be a companion that can elevate their mood in an instant. Whether they were having a challenging day or just feeling a bit down, I hoped that this vibrant pond scene could provide a moment of calm and positivity, a daily reminder of the simple beauty in nature.

As an artist, I love capturing the beauty and emotions of nature. This painting, featuring a peaceful pond with water lilies at sunset, was inspired by a late afternoon I spent outdoors. The sun was setting, casting a warm golden light over everything, and the water lilies on the pond looked magical, reflecting the vibrant colors of the sky.
Using a palette knife and brushes, I focused on creating bold and bright colors to bring the scene to life. I wanted the painting to evoke the same sense of peace and joy I felt at that moment.
It brings me joy to think that someone else might feel the same tranquility when they look at this piece. This painting is my way of sharing a moment of calm and beauty in a busy world.

In this painting, I decided to have this glamorous woman from my imagination close her eyes, while her expression conveyed pleasure, contentment, and joy. Even though my inspiration came from something as simple as a glossy magazine, I wanted the viewers to feel a sense of peace, happiness, and self-love when they look at my work.
This painting was created with a palette knife, which gives it a certain edge. The paint application method made the glamorous mood even richer, as the visual is complemented by texture.

I went to a meditation class and met an amazing teacher. She reminded me of Audrey Hepburn, with a similar elegant style, radiant smile, and captivating aura. She smiled with abandon. Her broad smile was contagious, and her face had bright distinct features. I furtively took a photo of her as she was talking to another student.
At home, I created a portrait with my palette knife, using the teacher's photo as a reference. My portrait looks somewhat different than the teacher. I only copied her style. It's just a woman from my imagination, inspired by the meditation teacher. Her broad smile and eyes with long lashes were my focus, and I made her happy and mischievous to bring life to the painting.
